INSTITUTE OF CRETAN LAW

It functions as a Legal Institute Governed by Public Law (NPDD), subsidised by the State budget.

Its aim is the research and study of the Cretan Law in its different stages of development.

It is represented by the President of the Board of Directors (the currently serving President of the Court of Appeals of Chania), or in his absence, by his Director, appointed by the Minister of Justice.
